Hello children.
Yes, yes. For those who've guessed, and for those who've not, I'm watching Labyrinth. Good ol' '80s, Jennifer Connelly, and David Bowie in tights and all those crotch shots they seem to do of him in said tights. Childhood ruined.
Anyway. Guess what! I'm an aunt, AGAIN! WOOO HOOO!!! Rosalie Autumn was born on Thursday (Aug. 13th, and on schedule, unlike her older sister who was a week early). I'm sooooooo excited!
This past week I've been mighty productive. Sooooo excited about that as well. I always wondered what it felt like to be in this state of productiveness, and now I know. hahaha! I've been sewing like crazy mad. I've finished almost half of my list of projects that need to be finished by Christmas. The project I'm really, really excited about almost finishing I've been working on today; a baby quilt (my 2nd to do) for my nephew who is due in November.
[Side note: I just love all the voices of the muppet/puppet creatures in this movie! I credit Jim Henson and crew to my random voice outbursts. The End.]
I've also started, and am close to finishing, a new song. Seriously, stinkin', all kinds of pimped out excited.
I told you I've been productive this week! Hahaha!
What else? Oh! I never told you about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! I was all raving at how excited I was to go and see it, and I never followed-up. My apologies... Forgive me.
So, yeah. I went to see the movie at the midnight showing with a group of friends I used to work with from B&N. Soooooo fun. I miss those guys a whole lot of terribly. About five of us had made shirts to wear to the movie. I don't know where the idea to do such originated from, but it was fun times of enjoyment. They all had "Quidditch Team Player" shirts and I had a "Gryffindor Quidditch fan" shirt (it had the lyrics to the Gryffindor's version of "Weasley Is Our King" for those who are familiar with the books). We took pictures. I'll have to post them..., later.
The movie: Over-all the movie was really good. I went to see it a second time with BFF, Becca to better my actual opinion on how it compared to the book. I like the movie. I understand the reasons why some things have to be cut or altered for money and time purposes. What I did NOT like was how they portrayed certain characters and certain relationships among characters. I didn't like that certain things were cut that really needed to be in the movie, mainly because they were a) key to the next movie(s) and b) very big parts of the 6th book. Anyway. I really do like it though...
Okay then. I think that's all I've not said in a while. Wait. What? Does that even make sense?
[HAHAHAHA!!!! The Bog of Eternal Stench makes farting noises... Thaaaaat never gets old.]
Oh well. Peacin' out, homies!
The End.
