Me: "Aidyn, can you say 'baby monkey'?"

Aidyn: "Baby ah-ah."

Hello children!

It has been waaaaaaaaaay too long since I have last updated for all 1-2 (if I'm lucky) of you readers to read. My apologies.

Quick re-cap of all things in my world since last I postaged...

Halloween: Was very fun! At church we had a Trunk-Or-Treat during the afternoon. A bunch of families from the neighborhood came through. Most, not all, had children dressed up in the most adorable outfits; only a handful exceeded expectations.

After that was over with I made my way over to The Jones/Casey dwelling for our traditional Halloween Extravaganza. Basically this consists of us dressing up (some, not all), hanging out eating chili, the guys taking turns scaring the kids who come to the door (the carport is turned into a mini haunted house) and the girls hanging out inside. This year, because we had two rug-rats of the early toddler age, a small group of us took them Trick-Or-Treating. Glorious fun! After returning to the house and things settling down in the carport, the guys began on the traditional bonfire that is set up in the backyard. We hung out by the fire for a couple of hours laughing and having fun, watching the guys do stupid fire stuff (as tradition has it), until we all disbanded around 10ish or so.

When I left there I went by another friend of mine's house where she and her husband were having a get-together as well. I didn't stay for very long because of work the next day. Curses.

New Moon Release: Totally went to the midnight viewing! Technically it was the 12:10; less crowded, less annoying fans. Glorious. Before the movie we all went to eat sushi before hitting up the Wal-Mart to purchase movie snackies.

The movie was really, really good. Hands-down way better than Twilight. As most movie adaptations of books, there were things done/portrayed that I wasn't too terribly happy with, but overall it was a really, well done film for what they were going on.

Thanksgiving: This year Thanksgiving was hosted at my cousins' house again. Good fun and good food as always. We didn't hang out until the evening like we normally do in the past, though. I think it was because Mom had invited one of the older ladies from our church to come along with us and they had to get her back home.

I went over to some friends' house where there was more food and game activity going on.

I didn't get to do much that evening because I had to work Black Friday at work and requested the first shift, 5-11 am. I know, I know. You're thinking, 'Why would you shoot yourself in the foot like that?' Answer: I had the rest of the day off! I only had to battle traffic going home, and it wasn't too terribly bad at that point 'cause we were going the opposite way of the insanity!

Eli's Birth: Idk, my BFF, Becca, and her husband, Chris, had their bouncing baby boy this past Friday (December 4, 2009). He is abso-stinkin-lutely the most adorable and cuddliest baby (along with Aidyn and Rosalie)! Becca had to be induced on Friday 'cause he just refused to come out of his belly incubator. They ended up having to do a C-section as well 'cause his heart rate kept dropping and they lost it a time or two. But, all was well, he came out fine and dandy and pooping. Hahaha! He weighed 8lbs and 2oz and was 20 1/2in long. Looks just like his daddy when Chris was born.

So, that's about it as far as recent happenings in my world. Christmas is fast approaching and I'm almost halfway finished with gifts that are being made. I really need to get on that.

I have loads of pictures that I'm going to need to go through from the past events that were just previously stated and give a picture blog post for all you kiddos (or you can look on FaceStalk if you're on there and we're Friends).

Going to go eat because my stomach is officially chewing on my spine.

The End.
