It is EXACTLY one week until Crazy Hairy and I get married! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!

All kinds of excited, just in case you couldn't tell by the all caps.

Tuesday night Crazy Hairy and I went to the EISLEY concert at WorkPlay; he'd never seen them perform before. Christie DuPree, the younger sibling(s) of 4/5 of the band members of EISLEY, opened up the show followed by The Narrative and then EISLEY. It was a rockin' good show! I christened my new camera by taking a full 4GB memory card's worth of pictures. I'll link some of them from my flickr for those of you who haven't seen them on there or my fb already.

I hadn't seen Christie DuPree perform live until Tuesday night. Let me just say, if you've never listened to any of her stuff, go do so now. Go direct your browser to her music myspace or wherever else you may stumble across her music and go listen to it. Invest in it. Make her music a blind investment. When I say "blind investment" I mean purchase before hearing it because it is that good.

Speaking of musical blind investments, invest in EISLEY's recent release, The Valley. Worth it. Yes, I do realize I am very much on the a lot side of the slightly biased side when it comes to my opinion of this band, but that's besides the point. Trust me. When it comes to music I will not lead you astray.

Well, I'm off to take a nap of the eight-hour kind.

Well hello children!

Updates, updates. Where to begin?

Oh, wait! I know! Since last I spake to you my house got jacked. Long story short, for those of you who missed the rants on facebook and twitter, my parents' house was broken into and among all the things they snatched, my Macbook, external hard drive (with close to 1million pic files dating back almost 10 yrs, all my music files and other files) and my Nikon D40 and zoom lens are now no longer in my possession...

I've been in mourning.

Who wouldn't be?

The emotional loss for me completely out-weighed the monetary value loss (?) since all my pics are now gone.

Luckily (or blessedly?), Patrick had some of these pictures (and music files) on his computer! :)

Maybe I'll be able to post the others that have been re-worked later...

Currently watching Singin' In the Rain. Love, love, love it. I am NOT love, love, lovin' my stupid allergies and sinuses wreaking havoc on me with this change of the season stuff happening. Don't get me wrong. I l-o-v-e me some Spring. But, as stated a few sentences before, my allergies and sinuses hate me.

I found out some wonderful news. May 31st. Workplay. EISLEY! Oh! AND Christie DuPree! Happy Freakin' Early Wedding Present to ME! Woo to the hoo!

I do apologize for the 3 months shy of about a year-long absence. Won'st thoust please forgivest me?

As I stated -- so long ago -- I'm getting married! Woo Hoo! In about 80 days, to be exact. We've been doing all the pre-wedding things (i.e., registering, planning, etc.) and I'll be honest, I'm ready for it to all finally be here. I'm ready to have my showers/teas so I can see what all loverly gifts I'm getting so I can put them away in their new home(s) at the house in Alabaster.

Okay. Rewind. Mainly ready for this shin-dig to take place so I can officially live in the house in Alabaster. I'm tired of the commuting back and forth once a week to go to church and clean house.

Anyway.

I'm ready to enjoy my two months off from work so we can have the wedding, go relax for a few days on the beach, so I can go to Oklahoma for a week for StandOut and so that we can go spend a week in Orlando, FL at Harry Potter World for our official honeymoon! (Hecks YES we're going!)

Two of our friends have been good enough to take pictures of us for our "Engagement Photos". I'll have to do some tweekering and post them on here, or if you are impatient like I am, you can go to see them on facestalk for those who are friends with me via that mode. If not, I do apologize and will try and hurry.

La, la, la. What else? Um, not sure. Maybe it'll come to me later and I'll remember to post it. Must not have been too terribly important or else I may have been closer to remembering it. That's a lie. I forget things all the time. Sorry.
