"I don't know if you notice anything different."

"Its getting dark and its getting cold and the nights are getting long." (Fink, "This Is The Thing")

Hello children!

I am very, very much enjoying Fink's Distance and Time album. Seriously. Add it to your list of albums to listen to whilst winding down. Also, add it to your list of albums to listen to while riding/driving at night during the change of season where you can ride with your windows down and enjoy the evening. I do realize the latter list has a very long title, but it's a real list title.

Okay. You know those red roller ball ink pens. The ones where the pen has a window on the side of it and you can see the ink in it. Yeah, those. Unless you want to have to scrub a good, um, 4-and-one-half layers of skin off of your body, do not write on yourself with said pen. I'm just saying.

*Note to viewers: I do realize the picture should be vertical. I was too lazy to fix said problem. I'll admit that.

On a parting note, my reading addiction has cycled back to full speed ahead mode. I've read approximately 4 books within one week. This could almost be a record for me. I can't prove that, but we'll say that it may officially be if we start keeping record now.

Okay peeps. I'm peacin' out, yo.

The End.

"I woke up today in a very simple way..."

"...in the morning all I could do was sing." (Port O'Brien, I Woke Up Today)

Hello children!

It is, according to Yahoo! Weather, 63 degrees outside and it is, according to the fact that it has been practically pouring down ever since 5ish this afternoon when I had to be at work, very rainy. Moral of the story: I'M EFFING ECSTATIC!!!!

Ga-ga-ga-glorious! I tell you! Glorious! Until just recently in the evening, I have been curled up in SpongeBob sleep pants, a sweatshirt and thick socks reading in the chair in the living room listening to the satellite Indie Rock station buzzing in the background. I only took a break so that I could let all of you know this and wallow in your jealousy of my joyousness. True story.

So, speaking of Indie Rock, I'd like to thank the soundtracks of a few movies, namely Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, for re-igniting my fiery love for said genre. I've been submerged in the Singer/Songwriter genre up until almost a week ago now. Not a bad place to drown, mind you, but the Indie Rock pool is totally worth jumping in and doing a few face-down floats* in. *Don't question that terminology. You know exactly what I speak of. You're guilty of participating in that funness when you were once young.

Updates:
Last weekend I took part in a student/youth conference in Roberta, GA at Camp Eunice. Good fun. One of my friends, who also was a volunteer, took her awesometastic camera and used her awesometastic photographic eye and took a few pics. I'll have to snatch some off of facebook and post them for your viewing pleasure.

I am almost finished with my second baby quilt. WOOO!!! This one is for my nephew, Eli, who is due to grace us with his presence around the time of Turkey Day, mainly Black Friday... Fingers crossed that he comes on his expected date. I'm excited beyond words can probably describe.

End of Updates as of now.

P.s., I'm all hyped-up hyper 'cause of the weather. As if you couldn't tell by my chatterbox blog post...

Okay. I'm going to go work on Eli's quilt some more so it'll be finished even quicklier than planned. Peace out.

The End.
