"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts (deedly dee dee)..."

"There they are all standing in a row...."

Hello children!

Is it so wrong?
Is it so weird?
Is it so...right, that I want this?

Rachel: "You're supposed to be able to feel the Bass...."

Me: "You know the Bass is good if you feel violated."

Hellooooo children!

As always, my deepest and sincerest apologies for lack in postagings.

Since my last post we've had two lovely snowy days. I was able to take pictures of one after I got home from work for one of those two days. Happy times, happy times. It was gloriously beautiful that day too. You look around and all you see are shades of white. black and grays all around in the scenery. I repeat: gloriously beautiful. I need to upload those from my camera and post them (we all know how long that'll take, so, again, my apologies).

I have also had my Mac fixed. Almost a year ago we had to take it in to get a mini dvd disc unstuck from the disc drive (Thanks, Dad, for finding out that they DO NOT read those types of discs.). I had forgotten about that and so months, and I do mean months, later I go to load a movie onto my computer and it wouldn't read it. I thought it was a faulty disc and left it at that conclusion. A month or so later I stick a cd in to load onto my iPod and it wouldn't read it either.

Crap.

Longer than necessary story short: I took it to the Apple Store, finally, and they replaced it. Thank God it was still under Apple Care Warranty, 'cause it cost me $0.00. AND! Not only did they replace my disc drive but also the entire keyboard, track pad and covering. There was a crack along the edge from where my wrists rest when I type.

The time has come, once more, for StandOut Youth Conference. March 5-6 will be in Phenix City, AL; April 9-10, Camp Pearl in Louisiana. Those who might possibly be interested in said conferences, or even those being held later in the year, click here for the website.

In preparation for said conference(s) we've been having some well-needed band practices. The last full rehearsal we had was this past Saturday night. We also had "promotional" pictures made for the site and such. Some of said pictures are posted below. Enjoy!

All photos by Allison Shirley (2010).

Well, kiddies, I've just gotten home from work and am about to do a little bit of reading to wind down by. Peace out!

The End.

"Let the notes I choose be your favorite tune..."

"Father let my heart be after you." (Needtobreathe, "Garden")

Hello children!

As promised, I have some pictures. Yay!

I chose a few from Halloween thru now-ish to show you. So, without further delay, enjoy.

Halloween

Above left: Aidyn Trick-or-Treating with myself and Kristi (the mommy). Above right: Rosalie asleep in my arms in her flower costume.

First Trip to the Zoo!
Patrick, myself and Kristi took Aidyn and Rosalie to the zoo; the girls' first time.

Left to Right: Myself and Aidyn looking at the monkeys, or "ah-ah". Patrick, or Pack (what Aidyn calls him), lifting Aidyn up to hang on the tree. Rosalie with a leaf. Hahaha! We had Aidyn playing in the leaves and thought Rosalie needed a leaf picture.

Eli Foxfire

Born December 4, 2009. AND! It snowed that night! Yay! My lil' buddy. He makes stink-eye faces at you, which equals glorious. Hahaha! He's just started smiling this past week, according to his mom.

Aaaaand, speaking of snow, we were under a Winter Weather Advisory all day today. Totally jipped. We had flurries of snow and sleet spastically through the day, but nothing major. As stated before, totally jipped.

Anyway. That's all for today/tonight. Peacin' out!

The End.

Me: "Aidyn, can you say 'baby monkey'?"

Aidyn: "Baby ah-ah."

Hello children!

It has been waaaaaaaaaay too long since I have last updated for all 1-2 (if I'm lucky) of you readers to read. My apologies.

Quick re-cap of all things in my world since last I postaged...

Halloween: Was very fun! At church we had a Trunk-Or-Treat during the afternoon. A bunch of families from the neighborhood came through. Most, not all, had children dressed up in the most adorable outfits; only a handful exceeded expectations.

After that was over with I made my way over to The Jones/Casey dwelling for our traditional Halloween Extravaganza. Basically this consists of us dressing up (some, not all), hanging out eating chili, the guys taking turns scaring the kids who come to the door (the carport is turned into a mini haunted house) and the girls hanging out inside. This year, because we had two rug-rats of the early toddler age, a small group of us took them Trick-Or-Treating. Glorious fun! After returning to the house and things settling down in the carport, the guys began on the traditional bonfire that is set up in the backyard. We hung out by the fire for a couple of hours laughing and having fun, watching the guys do stupid fire stuff (as tradition has it), until we all disbanded around 10ish or so.

When I left there I went by another friend of mine's house where she and her husband were having a get-together as well. I didn't stay for very long because of work the next day. Curses.

New Moon Release: Totally went to the midnight viewing! Technically it was the 12:10; less crowded, less annoying fans. Glorious. Before the movie we all went to eat sushi before hitting up the Wal-Mart to purchase movie snackies.

The movie was really, really good. Hands-down way better than Twilight. As most movie adaptations of books, there were things done/portrayed that I wasn't too terribly happy with, but overall it was a really, well done film for what they were going on.

Thanksgiving: This year Thanksgiving was hosted at my cousins' house again. Good fun and good food as always. We didn't hang out until the evening like we normally do in the past, though. I think it was because Mom had invited one of the older ladies from our church to come along with us and they had to get her back home.

I went over to some friends' house where there was more food and game activity going on.

I didn't get to do much that evening because I had to work Black Friday at work and requested the first shift, 5-11 am. I know, I know. You're thinking, 'Why would you shoot yourself in the foot like that?' Answer: I had the rest of the day off! I only had to battle traffic going home, and it wasn't too terribly bad at that point 'cause we were going the opposite way of the insanity!

Eli's Birth: Idk, my BFF, Becca, and her husband, Chris, had their bouncing baby boy this past Friday (December 4, 2009). He is abso-stinkin-lutely the most adorable and cuddliest baby (along with Aidyn and Rosalie)! Becca had to be induced on Friday 'cause he just refused to come out of his belly incubator. They ended up having to do a C-section as well 'cause his heart rate kept dropping and they lost it a time or two. But, all was well, he came out fine and dandy and pooping. Hahaha! He weighed 8lbs and 2oz and was 20 1/2in long. Looks just like his daddy when Chris was born.

So, that's about it as far as recent happenings in my world. Christmas is fast approaching and I'm almost halfway finished with gifts that are being made. I really need to get on that.

I have loads of pictures that I'm going to need to go through from the past events that were just previously stated and give a picture blog post for all you kiddos (or you can look on FaceStalk if you're on there and we're Friends).

Going to go eat because my stomach is officially chewing on my spine.

The End.
